The Anderson Trojans will challenge the Cedar Creek Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Anderson knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 31 points or more in their past six matchups -- so hopefully Cedar Creek likes a good challenge.
On Friday, Anderson got the win against Hendrickson by a conclusive 45-24. Considering the Trojans have won five games by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Caleb Crenshaw

10/03/25 vs Lehman | 217 |
09/26/25 @ A&M Consolidated | 206 |
09/12/25 vs College Station | 228 |
09/05/25 vs Elgin | 193 |
08/28/25 vs McCallum | 104 |
Caleb Crenshaw had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 294 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 9.5 yards per carry. Crenshaw is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 104 every time he's taken the field this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jay Fullmer, who gained 94 total yards and three touchdowns.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Anderson was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 384 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 318 rushing yards in five consecutive contests.
Anderson didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Liam McMillian and Yaheim Riley. Another thorn in Hendrickson's side was River Anderson, who picked up 2.5 sacks and made six total tackles (4.5 for loss).
Meanwhile, Cedar Creek took a blow against College Station on Friday, falling 73-7. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 1037th, while the Cougars are ranked 152nd).
Anderson pushed their record up to 6-0 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.4 points over those games. As for Cedar Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.
Everything came up roses for Anderson against Cedar Creek in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 59-14 win. In that matchup, the Trojans amassed a halftime lead of 49-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Thursday.
