The Menlo School Knights won the last time they faced the Capuchino Mustangs, and things went their way on Wednesday too. Menlo School blew past Capuchino 52-21 on the road. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Menlo School.
Ruiqi Liu was the offensive standout of the match as she dropped a double-double on 19 points and 10 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Menlo School's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Arthi Abhyanker, who scored 9 points along with 13 rebounds.
Menlo School's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Capuchino, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Menlo School will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Sacred Heart Prep at 6:00 p.m. on November 30th. As for Capuchino, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Burlingame at 6:00 p.m. Burlingame presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Capuchino in California (Burlingame is ranked 79th, while Capuchino is ranked 639th).
