While Olympian's win against Southwest SD wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Eagles sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-0 victory over the Raiders on Saturday. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Raiders recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Southwest SD's batters probably weren't too happy with Aaron Gonzalez, who pitched a no hitter and racked up eight Ks (he gave up zero walks).

At the plate, Olympian's victory was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Esteban Diaz, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI. That's the most hits Diaz has posted since back in March of 2024.

Olympian's win bumped their record up to 13-5-1. As for Southwest SD, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-8-1 record this season.

Olympian wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 9-0 loss against Otay Ranch on the 14th. As for Southwest SD, they will be taking part in a tournament against High Tech CV at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Bruins will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.
