Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Mingo Central to victory, but perhaps none more so than Addie Smith, who scored 15 points along with seven assists and three steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which Smith has scored at least 25% of Mingo Central's points. Another player making a difference was Dalaney Grimmett, who scored 20 points.
The win for Mingo Central keeps them at an undefeated 4-0. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.8 points per game. As for Tolsia, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
Mingo Central will take on South Charleston in a holiday battle at 5:30 p.m. on Friday at. Tolsia will be home for the holidays to greet Greenup County at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
