West Warwick hasn't had much luck against Ponaganset recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Wizards will head out on the road to face off against the Chieftains at 5:00 p.m. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with West Warwick sitting on five straight victories and Ponaganset on eight.
West Warwick came out on top against North Smithfield on Saturday thanks in part to the team's impressive ten-run first inning. The Wizards put the hurt on the Northmen with a sharp 13-2 win. Considering the Wizards have won seven contests by more than six runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
Kole Kilduff made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching four innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. Kilduff was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
