Softball Recap: Tuttle Now 10-2 over Last 12 Games

Tuttle had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Chickasha on Thursday. The Tigers' pitchers stepped up to hand the Fighting Chicks a 10-0 shutout. Considering the Tigers have won 12 games by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Tuttle has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 29-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.2 runs over those games. As for Chickasha, they now have a losing record of 11-12.

Looking ahead, Tuttle will venture away from home to take on Choctaw at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Chickasha does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
