Crisp Academy came out on top against Fitzgerald  on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive ten-run third inning. The Wildcats blew past the Purple Hurricane 13-1. Considering the Wildcats have won three matchups by more than ten  runs this season, Monday's  blowout was nothing new.

 At the plate, Crisp Academy let  Ansley Simpson and  Laura Evans run wild. Simpson  went 3-for-4 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI, while  Evans  went 3-for-4 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  double. That's the most  hits  Simpson has posted since back in October of 2024. Another player making a difference was  Mary Margaret Gibbs, who  went 2-for-3 with two  runs and two  RBI.

The  win  got Crisp Academy back to even at 3-3. As for Fitzgerald,  they are  on  a  five-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-5.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Crisp Academy will take on Tiftarea Academy at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Fitzgerald, they will challenge Clinch County at 6:00  p.m.  on Wednesday.
