After soaring to 56 points the game before, the River City Raiders were a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They had to suffer through a rough 66-14 loss at the hands of Foothill. River City was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-12.
Lexi Peters was her usual excellent self, scoring 16 points for Foothill. The contest was Peters' fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Riley Sedlak, who scored 8 points.
River City's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Foothill, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.
River City will take on Center at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Center will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 990th, while River City is ranked 302nd). Foothill's road trip will continue as they head out to face El Camino at 7:00 p.m. on December 1st.
