Ray Sanchez made a big impact no matter where he played. He tossed four innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. Sanchez was even better at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Abbel Martinez, who scored four runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-3. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now stole at least one in each of the last four games he's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Hector Fuentes, who scored three runs and stole four bases while going 1-for-3.
