The Fullerton Indians will head out on the road to take on the Paraclete Spirits at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Fullerton 3.9, Paraclete 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Fullerton is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They blew past Woodrow Wilson 8-2.
Fullerton got a great performance from Declan Fitzgerald as he struck out nine batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits. Fitzgerald has been consistent: he hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, Zach Fany was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Sammy Chacon also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
Fullerton was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .462. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Paraclete came tearing into Thursday's contest with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.4 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Wildcats.
Cole Mercier tossed a big game, pitching six innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits.
On the hitting side, Paraclete saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Abraham Perez, who went 2-for-3 with one run.
Paraclete's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-13. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.6 runs over those games. As for Fullerton, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-9-1 record this season.
