Eden Christian Academy's loss came despite strong showings from Ella D'Ippolito and Hope Haring. D'Ippolito scored 18 points along with 8 rebounds, while Haring scored 10 points along with 4 steals. D'Ippolito scored a full 41.9% of Eden Christian Academy's points, the second time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Emmie Smith, who scored 11 points.
Eden Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Beaver Falls, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Eden Christian Academy will be staying on the road on Wednesday to face off against Our Lady of the Sacred Heart at 6:00 p.m. on December 6th. Beaver Falls will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Moon Area at 7:30 p.m. on December 14th.
