Jordan's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Breana Patu, who scored eight points along with five rebounds and two steals. Asia Edwards was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with five rebounds and five steals.
Lakewood was led to victory by Cristina Jones and Nyemah King. Jones dropped a double-double on 12 points and 17 rebounds, while King scored 22 points along with six rebounds and four steals. King is absolutely dominating the point category: she's posted at least 15 every time she's taken the court this season.
Jordan's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-6. As for Lakewood, they pushed their record up to 18-2 with that victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.
