The Linden Lions's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their 11th straight loss. Their rough 51-27 loss to Edison might stick with them for a while. Linden has not had much luck with the Vikings recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Edison found their leader in underclassman Ajaila Jordan, who dropped a triple-double on 20 points, ten rebounds, and 11 steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Jordan has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Taviana Hughes, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds and seven steals.
Linden's loss was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-25. As for Edison, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-13.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Linden will take on the Delta Kings at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Stagg will be looking to extend their current 12-game winning streak. As for Edison, they will head out on the road to square off against the Bruins at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. That matchup will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Siannah Rios and Jordan.
