Pacific Bay Christian has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will square off against the San Francisco Christian Trojans at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Pacific Bay Christian will be strutting in after a victory while San Francisco Christian will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Friday, Pacific Bay Christian strolled past Pescadero with points to spare, taking the game 42-24. The victory was just what Pacific Bay Christian needed coming off of a 80-13 defeat in their prior match.
Pacific Bay Christian can attribute much of their success to Terra Pandoofi, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds and six steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Pandoofi has scored all season. Avery Lin was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with eight assists and four steals.
Meanwhile, San Francisco Christian's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 41-15 walloping at the hands of Design Tech. San Francisco Christian has struggled against Design Tech recently, as their contest on Friday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Pacific Bay Christian's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-6. As for San Francisco Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
Everything came up roses for Pacific Bay Christian against San Francisco Christian in their previous matchup back in February of 2022 as the team secured a 64-13 win. With Pacific Bay Christian ahead 48-9 at the half, the match was all but over already.
