After losing to Public Safety Academy the last time they met, Mesa Grande Academy decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Cardinals were the clear victors by an 8-2 margin over the Phoenix on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Cardinals, who have now won five games by six runs or more so far this season.

Mesa Grande Academy's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Public Safety Academy, they moved to 11-5 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
