Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Northview to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brysin Orso, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds. Orso continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Caleb Levins, who posted 14 points.
Northview's victory bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Atmore Christian, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Northview will face off against Jay at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Chiefs will be up against the Royals' rather soft defense (which has allowed 57.25 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. Atmore Christian will take on Gulf Pointe Latin in a holiday battle at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
