The Montgomery Red Raiders's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Neumann Regional Academy an easy 41-20 victory. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Montgomery in their matchups with Neumann Regional Academy: they've now lost seven in a row.
Falin Reynolds was Montgomery's leading scorer, having posted nine points.
Addison Muhl held things down on the boards with six rebounds. She took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.
GiGi Parlante continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Neumann Regional Academy, dropping a double-double on 19 points and 21 rebounds. Parlante also posted two blocks for the first time this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Lizzie weller, who scored six points.
Montgomery's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Neumann Regional Academy, the win got them back to even at 3-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Montgomery will challenge Muncy at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Muncy is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home. As for Neumann Regional Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Northumberland Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
