It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Ramona Rams had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They walked away with a 49-37 victory over the Eagles. The victory was familiar territory for Ramona who now have 11 in a row.
Ramona found their leader in underclassman Olivia Molina, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 16 rebounds. Molina hasn't dropped below 11 rebounds for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Athena Berber, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds.
Ramona is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 15 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-10 record this season. As for United Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-11.
Ramona will face off against Eastside at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Eastside's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last 11 matchups. United Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
