Providence waltzed into their game on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victor by a 21-1 margin over the Collins Family Jaguars. With that win, the Pioneers brought their scoring average up to 8.3 runs per game.
Luc Rode and Trevor Provencio made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Rode tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Provencio kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out seven over four innings pitched. Furthermore, he didn't allow a single hit, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in February of 2024.
