The Olympian Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 20 points or more this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Wednesday as they easily beat Preuss UCSD 63-21 on the road. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Olympian has managed all season.
Asia Darcuiel continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 22 points along with three steals. That makes it eight consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Olympian's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Alyssa Martin, who scored nine points along with nine rebounds and four steals.
The win got Olympian back to even at 4-4. As for Preuss UCSD, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.
Olympian will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against University City at 3:00 p.m. on December 22nd. University City has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 180 points over their last three matches. Preuss UCSD will take on Helix in a holiday battle at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday at. Hopefully Helix focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up eight on Monday.
