The Heritage Patriots can now show off 12 landslide victories after their most recent contest on Wednesday. They took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 73-17 victory over Rancho Verde. Given Heritage's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 266th, while the Mustangs are ranked 618th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Heritage was led to victory by Mariah Logan and Sierra Maxwell. Logan went 10 for 14 from beyond the arc en route to 32 points and 3 assists, while Maxwell dropped a triple-double on 20 points, 12 assists, and 11 steals. Maxwell is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 15 or more in the last 17 games she's played. Reg'inae Hardin was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds.
Heritage's victory bumped their record up to 17-11. As for Rancho Verde, they dropped their record down to 12-14 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home.
Heritage does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Rancho Verde also has no future games currently scheduled.
