Madera South made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Torres, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Madera South put the hurt on Torres with a sharp  8-1 victory on Tuesday.  In other batting news,  Jeremiah Montes was  incredible,  scoring three  runs and  stealing two bases while going 3-for-3. That's the most  hits  he has posted since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of  Knox Flores, who  went 3-for-4 with four  RBI and one  double.
 Madera South was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .414. That's the best  batting average they've posted all season.

Madera South's win  ended  a  six-game drought on the road  dating back to last season and  puts them at 2-8. As for Torres, their record is now an identical 2-8.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Madera South will take on Roosevelt at 3:30  p.m.  on Friday. Roosevelt's pitching crew has only allowed 4.1  runs per game  this season, so Madera South's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Torres, they will challenge Coalinga at 3:30  p.m.  on Wednesday.
