Pelham came out on top against Pataula Charter Academy on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run second inning. The Hornets put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 14-1 win. The Hornets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 matches by nine runs or more this season.

Pelham is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.4 runs over those games. As for Pataula Charter Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-9.

As of now, neither Pelham nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
