Coffee came tearing into Friday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Northside Eagles a 12-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 11-6 last Tuesday.

Coffee's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-8. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Northside, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-12.
