After eight days of receiving well-deserved pats on the back for a comeback victory over former MaxPreps Texas No. 1 North Shore (Houston), the Katy Tigers have to deal with another severe road test this week.
The matchup between host Atascocita (Humble) and the Tigers on Friday night is the headliner for the MaxPreps Texas top games for Week 2.
Atascocita is athletic with high-level players at all the offensive skill positions. It should make for another nice contrast with Katy's reliance on a great defense (shut out North Shore in the second half) and a power running game built around Ron Hoff.
