Canton won the last time they faced Sayre and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Canton Warriors simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Sayre Redskins 48-3. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 23 points or more this season.

Canton has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season. As for Sayre, they dropped their record down to 2-19 with the loss, which was their tenth straight at home.

Coming up, Canton will head out on the road to face off against Troy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Troy will roll in looking for their 14th straight victory, something Canton surely won't give up without a fight. As for Sayre, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 46-17 defeat against Wellsboro on the 12th.
