Jackson-Reed has gone a perfect 10-0 against School Without Walls recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Tigers will be playing at home against the Penguins at 4:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Jackson-Reed took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Eastern as they made off with a 16-1 victory. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Tigers considering their one-run performance the contest before.
Jude Daniels looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up just one earned run but no hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Ben Shapiro was incredible, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Tommy Gore was another key player, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs and one RBI.
Meanwhile, it's playoff time, and School Without Walls had no trouble coming through when it counted. Their pitcher stepped up to hand McKinley Tech an 11-0 shutout on Wednesday. The win was nothing new for the Penguins as they're now sitting on six straight.
Zachary Muehl made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out eight over five innings pitched. Muehl was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Nolan Spangenberg, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Another player making a difference was Avi Berger, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run.
School Without Walls kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 5.5 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 matchups they've averaged 9.2.
Jackson-Reed's victory bumped their record up to 17-8-3. As for School Without Walls, their win bumped their record up to 17-6.
