The Dallastown Wildcats gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They breezed by Cumberland Valley at home to the tune of 49-14. This was payback for Dallastown, who suffered a 57-35 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Dallastown's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Cumberland Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dallastown will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Red Lion at 7:30 p.m. on December 19th. As for Cumberland Valley, they will head out on the road to face off against Cedar Cliff at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
