It was a good run, but the Adelanto Saints unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Tuesday. They suffered a rough 72-46 defeat at the hands of Silverado. Adelanto was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-17.
Elizabeth Udeze continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Silverado, scoring 30 points. The game was Udeze's 17th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Belinda Rincon, who scored 16 points.
Adelanto's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-7. As for Silverado, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Adelanto will take on Victor Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Victor Valley will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 948th, while Adelanto is ranked 431st). As for Silverado, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Barstow at 5:30 p.m. Barstow is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
