 Salinas' loss dropped their record down to 17-8. As for Hollister, the  victory was  the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-2.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Salinas will  challenge Monterey at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. Both teams have allowed few  runs on average, (Monterey: 3.1, Salinas: 3.1) so any  runs scored will be well earned. As for Hollister, they will head out on the road to  face off against  St. Joseph at 1:00  p.m.  on Saturday.
