The Bernstein Dragons can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Monday. They breezed by Roybal at home to the tune of 55-25. The win was just what Bernstein needed coming off of a 66-24 defeat in their prior match.
Odali Rivera continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 19 points. Another player making a difference was Marlin Mendez, who scored nine points.
Bernstein's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 15-8. As for Roybal, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.
Bernstein will head out on the road to take on Robert F. Kennedy Community at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Robert F. Kennedy Community is on a four-game streak of home wins, Bernstein a four-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. Roybal will take on Belmont at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Belmont comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 19 points in their last six games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
