Somersworth faced Campbell in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Toppers walked away with  a   3-1  win over Campbell. The  victory was familiar territory for the Toppers, who have now won five  games in a row.
 Somersworth had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-18, 25-14,  25-22.
 Savanna Comeau paced Somersworth's offense, picking up 11 kills. Comeau got some help from  Kylie Pettengill and her 30 assists.  Paige Demers controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
Somersworth's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Campbell, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.
 We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Somersworth will  square off against  rival Souhegan  at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. Meanwhile, Campbell is set to  face off against  their familiar foe Manchester Memorial  at 5:45  p.m.  on Friday.
