The Etna Lions's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. Their rough 45-23 loss to Trinity might stick with them for a while. Etna has struggled against Trinity recently, as their matchup on Friday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Trinity was led to victory by Chloe Albiez and Hazel DeLange. Albiez scored six points along with 11 rebounds and three blocks, while DeLange scored ten points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was Kloe Kist, who scored eight points.
Etna has not been sharp recently as the team has lost seven of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-18 record this season. As for Trinity, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-11.
Etna will be staying on the road on Wednesday to face off against Biggs at 7:00 p.m. on February 14th. As for Trinity, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Durham at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Trinity focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up seven on Friday.
