Sutherland is 6-1 against Greece Arcadia since May of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Knights will be playing in front of their home fans against the Titans at 5:00 p.m. Sutherland's pitching crew has only allowed 4.1 runs per game this season, so Greece Arcadia's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
On Saturday, Sutherland earned a 5-2 win over East. The victory continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won three in a row.
Meanwhile, after only two runs in their last contest, Greece Arcadia made sure to put some runs up on the board against Finney on Wednesday. The Titans were the clear victors by a 13-2 margin over the Falcons. The Titans not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 8th (when they won 16-0).
Brady Colbert was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over four innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits (and not a single walk). He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with three stolen bases and one run. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Greece Arcadia got a massive performance out of Julio Sosa, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. The Titans are 2-1 when Sosa posts two or more stolen bases, but 5-12 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Joseph Zona, who went 1-for-2 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.
Greece Arcadia always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .581. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Sutherland's win bumped their record up to 14-5. As for Greece Arcadia, their victory bumped their record up to 7-13.
Sutherland beat Greece Arcadia 3-0 when the teams last played back in May of 2025. Do the Knights have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Titans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
