The Ridgeview Wolf Pack will head out on the road to take on the Frontier Titans at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Ridgeview has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Ridgeview scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They breezed by Highland at home to the tune of 67-11. That 56 points margin sets a new team best for Ridgeview this season.
Frontier has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a 48-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of Centennial. While losing is never fun, Frontier can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 425th, while Centennial is ranked 177th).
Alexis Tinnin put forth a good effort for the losing side as she dropped a double-double on 22 points and 12 rebounds. She has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last three times she's played. Lailene Araniva was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with 12 rebounds and three steals.
Ridgeview's win bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Frontier, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-7.
Ridgeview came up short against Frontier in their previous meeting on January 10th, falling 50-46. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Tinnin, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 15 rebounds.
