Juan Miguel Rojas made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 14 over five innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with three RBI and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in May of 2024.
In other batting news, Jalen Mingao was incredible, going 1-for-4 with four stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. He has become a key player for Summit Shasta: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 9-11 otherwise.
