Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mendez). They blew past the Belmont Sentinels 57-18 on Friday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Jaguars considering their 24-point performance the game before.

The win (which was Mendez's third in a row) raised their record to 5-4. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 17.3 points per game. As for Belmont, they dropped their record down to 1-6 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Mendez will challenge Bernstein at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Mendez's defense has only allowed 24.7 points per game this season, so Bernstein's offense will have their work cut out for them. Belmont has already played their next match (against Robert F. Kennedy Community), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
