The last time they met, Cotter were the 46-0 winner over Kingsland. This time around? They had no such luck. Cotter fell just short of Kingsland by a score of 30-33. Things were expected to be close, but in this case the state rankings mixed up the winning team.
Cotter are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-6. Finally capturing their first victory of the season, Kingsland advanced to 1-5.
Next week Cotter take on Southland at 7:00 PM. As for Kingsland, they will face off against Hayfield. Kingsland will be strutting in after a win while Hayfield will be stumbling in from a loss.
