South Mecklenburg's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Peter Moye led the charge by scoring 22 points along with five rebounds. Moye is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last seven games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Myles Howard, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
South Mecklenburg's win bumped their record up to 15-2. As for Ardrey Kell, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-5.
South Mecklenburg will head out on the road to face off against Olympic at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Ardrey Kell, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Cuthbertson at 7:30 p.m. Cuthbertson is hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses.
