Baseball Recap: Creekside Christian Academy's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Creekside Christian Academy barely beat Rock Springs Christian Academy the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Everything went the Creekside Christian Academy Cougars' way against Rock Springs Christian Academy on Thursday as the Creekside Christian Academy Cougars made off with a 12-3 win. That's two games straight that the Cougars have won by exactly nine runs.

Carter Mcginnis made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Mcginnis was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in February.

In other batting news, Creekside Christian Academy let Daylen Williams and Bryce Mccadden run wild. Williams scored two runs while going 2-for-4, while Mccadden scored two runs while going 3-for-5. That's the most hits Mccadden has posted since back in February. The team also got some help courtesy of Nehemiah Lymon, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Creekside Christian Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .378. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Rock Springs Christian Academy only posted a batting average of .200.

The victory was the third in a row for Creekside Christian Academy, bringing their record for this year to 10-4. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.7 runs over those games. As for Rock Springs Christian Academy, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Creekside Christian Academy will challenge The King's Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rock Springs Christian Academy, they will square off against Upson-Lee at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
