The Ridgeview Wolf Pack fought the good fight in their overtime match against the Frontier Titans on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 52-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Titans. Ridgeview was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Frontier apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.
Alexis Tinnin was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 24 points and 15 rebounds for Frontier. The game was Tinnin's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sage Sebastian, who scored 11 points along with three steals.
This is the second loss in a row for Ridgeview and nudges their season record down to 8-8. As for Frontier, their victory bumped their record up to 13-5.
Ridgeview will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Bakersfield Christian at 5:45 p.m. on January 12th. Bakersfield Christian presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Ridgeview in California (Bakersfield Christian is ranked 165th, while Ridgeview is ranked 485th). As for Frontier, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Garces Memorial at 6:30 p.m. Garces Memorial comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 17 points in their last three games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
