Harlem came tearing into Wednesday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by an 11-3 margin over the Briarwood Academy Buccaneers. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by six runs or more this season.

Harlem's victory bumped their record up to 17-6. As for Briarwood Academy, they moved to 7-6 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Harlem will take on Hephzibah at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Rebels have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 15.13 runs per game on average), something the Bulldogs will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Briarwood Academy, they will host Bulloch Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Gators have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.13 runs per game on average), something the Buccaneers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
