The Bedford Bisons can finally bid farewell to their eight-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They breezed by Bellefonte at home to the tune of 48-16. That looming 48-16 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Bedford yet this season.
Bedford's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Katie Mcdevitt led the charge by scoring 11 points. Kasey Shuke was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Bedford's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-14. As for Bellefonte, their loss was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-17.
Bedford will face off against the Huskies at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Bellefonte, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against the Bison at 7:30 p.m. Clearfield presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Raiders in Pennsylvania (the Bison are ranked 183rd, while the Raiders are ranked 543rd).
