Rio Vista found their leader in underclassman Samiah Holley, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 steals. Holley has been hot recently, having posted eight or more steals the last three times she's played. Guadalupe Valdenegro was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on ten rebounds and 12 steals.
Rio Vista's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-8. As for Highlands, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-12.
