The El Camino Wildcats can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They breezed by San Pasqual at home to the tune of 54-11. That result was just more of the same for these two, as El Camino also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2019.
El Camino got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Aliyah Carter out in front who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 15 rebounds. That's the first time this season that Carter scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Justine Stewart, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds.
El Camino's win ended a 15-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-6. As for San Pasqual, their loss was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-8.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. El Camino's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Oceanside at 6:00 p.m. on December 14th. Oceanside presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than El Camino in California (Oceanside is ranked 195th, while El Camino is ranked 1069th). San Pasqual will be home for the holidays to greet Liberty Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
