The Ferndale Yellow Jackets lost against the Northern Cambria Colts back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Ferndale fell to the Colts 50-46. Ferndale has struggled against the Colts recently, as their matchup on Monday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Ferndale lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Abby Barley, who scored 12 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Barley has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Geonna Riffle, who scored six points.
Ferndale has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. As for Northern Cambria, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-12.
Ferndale will take on the Colts at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Northern Cambria, they will head out on the road to take on the Blue Jays at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
