Lincoln has gone a perfect 4-0 against Hill recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Lions will look to defend their home field against the Falcons at 4:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Lincoln has ten straight wins, Hill has 12 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
It was a proper cat-fight when Lincoln took on Prospect on Thursday. The Lions came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 5-2.

Jayden Peters made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off eight hits (and not a single walk). That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Ryan Bernwanger was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Lorenzo Collazo, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.
Evergreen Valley hit Hill with a six-run second inning on Saturday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Falcons came up short against the Cougars, falling 11-1.
Lincoln's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-4. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Hill, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-13.
Hill's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Lincoln hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .323. It's a different story for Hill, though, as they've only averaged .213. Will they be able to contain Lincoln's hitters?
Everything went Lincoln's way against Hill in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Lincoln made off with a 10-0 victory. Do the Lions have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Falcons turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
