Northwest hasn't had much luck against Quince Orchard recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Jaguars will challenge the Cougars at 7:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Northwest lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Walter Johnson, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Thursday's contest. The Jaguars took their game on Thursday with ease, bagging a 41-6 win over the Wildcats. The victory was nothing new for the Jaguars as they're now sitting on three straight.

Jayden Vongprachanh-Nelson was nothing short of spectacular: he threw for 240 yards and two touchdowns while completing 86.7% of his passes, and also rushed for 43 yards and a pair of scores. His passing game has become a key predictor of Northwest's success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 1-3 otherwise. Isaiah Taylor helped out on the ground, rushing for 100 yards.
Northwest didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Walter Johnson to a completion percentage of just 38.9%. The Jaguars have been improving in that area: they had allowed a completion percentage of 0.64 earlier this season, but they've only allowed one of 0.64 in their last three games.
Northwest didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Chris Tangelo and Isaiah Babcock. Babcock is also crushing it when it comes to total tackles: he's made at least five every time he's taken the field this season. Northwest received some extra help from Aaron Tank Rivers, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.
Meanwhile, Quince Orchard got themselves on the board against Clarksburg on Thursday, but Clarksburg never followed suit. They blew past the Coyotes, posting a 42-0 win. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Coyotes recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.
Northwest better keep an eye on William Drakeford Jr.. He was instrumental in Quince Orchard's win, throwing for 241 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 82.4% of his passes.
Northwest now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Quince Orchard, their record now sits at 7-0.
Northwest came up short against Quince Orchard in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, falling 24-17. Can the Jaguars avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
