Cannon Falls was successful in their previous meeting against Breck, and they didn't afford Breck any payback this time around. The Bombers made easy work of Breck this past Friday and carried off a 40-13 win. Cannon Falls' victory was all the more impressive since the Mustangs were averaging only 9.4 points allowed on the season.
The Bombers started the contest off right with 34 first-half points. The Mustangs countered with 7 points, leaving the score at 34-7 going into the half. The Cannon Falls defense was impenetrable in the third quarter, shutting them out and essentially clinching the matchup.
The Bombers will take on Dassell-Cokato at 7 p.m. ET. As for Breck, they do not have any more games currently scheduled.
