The Royals' Brett Johnson rumbled for the longest rushing play in Minnesota River this season in his game against Belle Plaine last week. Johnson ran for 95 yards on the play and finished with 138 on the day as his team lost to the Tigers.
Mayer Lutheran's dynamic duo of Cole Buttenhoff and Anthony Gruenhagen proved to be unstoppable against Le Sueur-Henderson, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Buttenhoff threw for 131 yards and Gruenhagen had 94 yards receiving.
